What is candidate ownership period for referrals and how does it work?

For any recruiters who have taken part in agency recruitment, the concept of candidate ownership is well known. It is effectively how long you 'own' a candidate once introduced to the receiving party, for the purpose of receiving a recruitment fee. We use the same concept in Refari for candidate referrals, someone referring a candidate to you can be set up to 'own' that candidate for X months. This has influences on how long the referrer will receive 'referral transparency' communications and on how long until someone else can legitimately refer this candidate to you (dependant on your own referral terms and conditions of course.)

If you want to update the referral candidate ownership period you can do so in HERE (admin users only.) Where you can select from 6, 12, 18 and 24-month options.
