How Refari Billing Works (and Why It's Automated)

This article explains how Refari bills for your subscription, why billing is automated by default, and the annual billing option available if automated billing does not suit your organisation.

Why Refari uses automated billing

Refari runs on automated, recurring billing so that our time and funds go into improving the product rather than chasing a payment every month. Automated billing keeps your account active without any manual steps on your side, which means no missed invoices, no interruptions to your service, and a predictable cycle you can plan around.

It also lets us keep investing in new features and improvements at a steady pace, which is part of the service you feel each time you log in.

How automated billing works

  • Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing cycle, so there is no invoice to action manually.
  • Your service continues without interruption, and you stay on the current version of Refari, including the latest features and fixes.
  • A receipt is issued automatically for each payment for your records.

Accepted payment methods

Payments are processed through Stripe, so Refari accepts any payment method that Stripe supports. In practice this covers all major credit and debit cards.

Prefer annual billing?

If automated monthly billing does not suit your organisation, an annual billing option is available as an alternative. Annual billing covers your subscription for the year in a single payment, which some finance teams prefer.
