Adding or Removing Team Members from Widgets Without Deleting Them

This guide walks you through how to add or remove a team member from your Meet The Team and Testimonials widgets without deleting their Refari account. Whether someone appears in these widgets is controlled entirely by their profile, so you can show or hide them at any time while keeping their account, history and login intact.

How it works: A team member only shows in the Meet The Team and Testimonials widgets once every required field on their profile (the ones marked with a *) is filled in. Completing those fields adds them; clearing any one of them hides them again.

Adding a team member

To add a team member to the Meet The Team and Testimonials widgets, make sure every field marked with a * on their account profile is completed. Once all the required fields are filled in, they will automatically appear in both widgets.

Required profile fields

The fields that need to be completed are:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email
• Profile Photo
• Position
• About
• Contact Number

Done: With all of the fields above completed, the team member will now show in your Meet The Team widget and, with a testimonial added, in your Testimonials widget too.

Removing a team member

To remove or hide a team member from the Meet The Team and Testimonials widgets without deleting them from Refari, simply clear one of the required fields listed above on their profile. As soon as a required field is empty, they no longer meet the criteria to be shown and will drop out of both widgets.

To bring them back later, fill the field back in and they will reappear automatically.

Note: Clearing a required field only hides the team member from the widgets. It does not delete their Refari account, and they keep their login, profile and history. If you want to permanently delete a team member instead, see the related article below.

How the two widgets are linked

The Meet The Team and Testimonials widgets share the same profile criteria. Adding or removing a team member from the Meet The Team widget will also add or remove them from the Testimonials widget. You do not need to update each widget separately.
