Email Send Time Optimisation and when does Refari use it?

Send time optimisation (STO) gives us the ability to send emails at the most optimal send time to each recipient. In other words, the same email is sent to different recipients at different times based on when they are most likely to engage. This leads to better open rates and as a result better click-through rates. It is a very powerful capability that works even in the event that a given recipient has never received or opened emails from Refari before. This means that two individuals in the same building could receive emails from us at different times. However, there are only certain types of communication that should be send time optimised.

Examples of emails we do STO:

Job Alerts

TopRec feedback requests

Example of emails we do not STO:

Password resets

Application notifications

Registration notifications

You can see if an email is waiting to be delivered as a result of STO by reviewing your communication logs.
