This article explains how the Seven20 job board integration with Refari works and what syncs between the two. In short: jobs you advertise in Seven20 appear on your Refari job board, the careers page on your own website, and applications and registrations from that job board are sent back into Seven20 automatically. Seven20 built the integration with Refari, so there is nothing to install: Refari Support switches it on with you and Seven20.

What is Seven20?
Seven20 is a recruitment CRM and applicant tracking system (ATS) built on Salesforce: the system where your team manages jobs, candidates and placements. Refari is the recruitment marketing layer that works alongside it: a job board (the careers page on your website where anyone can browse and apply for your roles), job alerts, Refer a Friend buttons and job feeds to the job search sites. Connecting the two means you manage each job once, in Seven20, and Refari puts it in front of candidates.
What syncs between Seven20 and Refari
A registration is a candidate signing up to your talent pool without applying for a specific job. A referral is a recommendation: someone tells you about a person who could suit one of your roles. The person making the recommendation is the referrer.

| What | Direction | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Jobs | Seven20 to Refari | Seven20 sends each job to Refari, and Refari advertises it on your job board. Changes and closures you make in Seven20 are sent the same way. |
| Applications | Refari to Seven20 | Each application made on your Refari job board is sent to Seven20. |
| Registrations | Refari to Seven20 | Each registration creates a new candidate in Seven20. Later updates to that candidate in Refari are sent too. |
| Referrals | Stays in Refari | Referrals are not sent to Seven20. You manage them in your Refari dashboard. |
| Candidate stages | Not synced | Refari does not read candidate stages (such as Placed) back from Seven20. |
With Seven20, referrals and referrers stay in Refari, where you can follow up each referral, track its progress and reward the referrer.
Note: Because candidate stages are not sent back from Seven20, a placement in Seven20 cannot automatically trigger TopRec (Refari's feedback and Google review requests). You can still ask a placed candidate yourself, with Request a Testimonial in your Refari dashboard. What a Seven20 job needs to appear on your Refari job board
Refari checks every job Seven20 sends. A job is accepted only when it has all of these:
- A job title.
- A category, which becomes the category filter on your job board.
- A work type, for example full time, part time or contract.
- At least one location.
- A recruiter (the job owner), who is shown on the advert as the person to contact.
- A closing date (the date the advert expires).
Salary, currency, a summary, the full description and screening questions are optional, and appear on the advert when Seven20 sends them. If a job is missing one of the required details, Refari rejects it and it does not appear.
Once accepted, a job shows on your job board while it is live:
- A job with a posted date in the future is scheduled, and appears on that date.
- A job whose closing date has passed is expired, and drops off your job board.
- A job marked internal appears only on your internal job board (a separate, private board for your own people), not on your public job board.
Tip: Make your changes in Seven20, not in Refari. If you expire or repost a Seven20 job from your Refari dashboard, Refari treats that advert as managed in Refari, and later updates from Seven20 no longer change it.If a job is still missing after you have checked these, contact Refari Support with the job title and we will look at what Refari received from Seven20.
How to switch on the Seven20 integration
- Contact Refari Support and tell us you use Seven20.
- We set up the connection with you and Seven20. Seven20 connects through Refari's API, so there is nothing for you to install.
- Once it is live, your Seven20 jobs start arriving on your Refari job board, and candidates from your website start arriving in Seven20.
You're set up: when jobs you advertise in Seven20 appear on your job board and a test application arrives in Seven20, the integration is working. What you get on the Refari side with Seven20
Once your Seven20 jobs are in Refari, everything on the Refari side works as it does with any other ATS:
- A job board on your website, with search, filters and a page for every job.
- Job alerts, so candidates hear about new roles that match what they are looking for.
- Refer a Friend buttons, so your network can recommend people for your roles.
- Job feeds to Indeed, Jora, Adzuna and LinkedIn, so your Seven20 jobs reach the job search sites without posting them one by one.
- Google for Jobs, which comes with a Refari website: each job gets its own page with the structured data Google reads, and jobs are reported to Google.
Jora is popular in Australia and New Zealand, and How to get your jobs on Jora automatically ↗ shows how to point Jora at your Refari feed.

Frequently asked questions
Does Seven20 have a job board integration with Refari?
Yes. Seven20 sends your jobs to Refari, which advertises them on the job board on your website, and Refari sends applications and registrations back to Seven20. Refari Support switches it on with you.
Can I put my Seven20 jobs on my own careers page?
Yes. Refari's job board sits on your own website, so candidates browse and apply on your domain, and their applications go into Seven20.
Do referrals go into Seven20?
No. Referrals stay in Refari, where you can track each one and reward the referrer. Applications and registrations do go into Seven20.
Can a placement in Seven20 trigger a Google review request?
Not automatically. Refari does not read candidate stages back from Seven20, so the stage-based TopRec trigger is not available. You can still ask a candidate yourself, with Request a Testimonial in your Refari dashboard.
How quickly do new jobs appear?
Refari publishes a job as soon as Seven20 sends it, as long as it has the required details above. When Seven20 sends each new job or change is set on the Seven20 side.
