How to add a URL Redirect to your Registration Widget Code

Sometimes you may wish to add a URL Redirect to your Registration Widget code. 

For example your Registration Widget might be on your home page but upon registering you want them to be automatically taken to your Job Board or a different page to what your Registration widget is on.

This can now be done!

Let's first have a look at URL Redirect 

If you have a Redirect in place, the candidate will not see the Job Alert popup at this stage.

Adding a URL Redirect

Simply copy across the new code (please note any previous changes to the fields will be lost) to your webpage editor and complete the section below. NOTE: You will need the trailing comma at the end of the optionalFields parameter set AND the close bracket as shown below if you are just copying in that one section of the widget code.

url: The webpage you want to registered candidate to be taken to

popupTitle: The title of the popup

popupDescription: the text to appear in the popup

popupButtonText: the text to appear in the button

How the candidate sees the URL Redirect

Here's how my example redirect popup looks like. This appears after a candidate registers using the Registration widget.

Clicking ok, or the X will automatically take the candidate to the destination page.
